The shallows, what are your thoughts about this movie? As a marine biologist

I believe these type of movies only add to the negative stigma surrounding sharks. I don’t know much about this particular movie, however the trailers prove that this movie has created an unrealistically aggressive shark, seemingly “hunting” the stranded surfers. Not realistic. Most shark bites on people occur due to mistaken identity, and once they determine we are not food they generally back off.
